Spencer Hawken

Spencer brings to the team a wealth of experience, having had ties to the movie industry since the 80's; first renting and selling movies from his stores in Dorset, then reviewing movies for publications such as Empire Magazine and The New York Times. 

He also hosted Spencer’s Movie Review Show on Cornwall’s Pirate FM from 2001-2004. He went on to spend some time in front of the camera working in TV and eventually moved behind it to make a number of productions as both director and producer. 

Spencer is the founder and current director of the Romford film festivals whilst also being a judge on six others.
